The goal in producing the new shin guards according to the latest competition rules of the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations was to bring robustness and shock-absorbing effects into harmony. The shinbone is one of the most sensitive parts of the body because it sits directly under the skin and is not surrounded by protective muscles. Especially in kickboxing, where kicks are standard part of the repertoire, well-fitting shin guards are essential and are part of the equipment. Thanks to the slight shaping of the protectors, Top Ten achieves a good support in order to distribute the impact energy across the surface. The wide and firm Velcro fasteners and the stocking on the calf provide the necessary support and prevent inflammation and abrasions that inferior products can cause right from the start.
