The QUANTUM Q1 is a traditional sparring head guard designed to guarantee the best possible protection in training and especially in sparring. It is made of very tear-resistant synthetic leather and equipped with very good cushioning padding. It is very light and offers a lot of comfort while wearing it.

* OUTER MATERIAL - The QUANTUM Q1 head protection is made of robust synthetic leather. The inside is made of a soft and slightly roughened polyester material. The material is sweat-repellent, which prevents the headgear from slipping and is also very pleasant on the skin.
* FIT & ADJUSTMENT - The QUANTUM Q1 headgear can be precisely adjusted to almost any head shape. The ergonomic shape guarantees a firm and stable fit on the head and prevents slipping. It provides optimal protection and offers maximum comfort when worn. The wide Velcro fastener at the back of the headgear can be closed very easily and firmly, making it simple to adjust the circumference. The size of the headgear can be adjusted very precisely to almost any head length with the help of a lacing on the top of the headgear.
* PROTECTION & PADDING - The padding consists of several layers of EVA and latex foams, which guarantees effective absorption of the blows. The slightly harder EVA foam on the outside acts like a shield and protects against the harshness of blows by letting some of the impact force bounce off directly. In contrast, the softer latex layer on the inside allows the head to be gently secured and also ensures more wearing comfort. The forehead and the sides of the head are particularly well padded because it is where the hardest and most dangerous hits usually land. The extra strong cheekbone and nose protection prevents serious injuries to the nose due to the thickness and also covers a large area. This puts it close to the nose and absorbs most of the impact that would otherwise go to the nose. The chin guard fits well against the lower jaw and, in conjunction with the cheekbone guard, it very effectively protects both the chin and the teeth. The ear openings are padded with foam rings (which run around the ears), which serve both to absorb shock and to protect the ear cups. Additional padding is placed on the back of the head, which protects it from unintentional hits, as well as cushioning the impact of your own head on the ground if you fall (e.g. through a knockout).
* CARE - This headgear should be placed in a dry, ventilated, and shaded place to dry after each workout. It should never be exposed to direct sunlight because the sun can damage both the upper material and the foam core. The headgear should be cleaned about every 30 training sessions. The outer synthetic leather should be wiped off with a damp cloth and a little detergent. The polyester inner material should be cleaned with a damp brush and a little detergent as well. This will remove any dirt, debris, and sweat. The detergent also kills most of the bacteria that are responsible for the bad smell. You can also optionally use a disinfectant (without alcohol) to kill the bacteria. However, you should always make sure that the foam is not sucked in with water when cleaning. The wet foam dries slowly and can damage the function of the headgear and shorten its lifespan.
ATTENTION: The headgear must never be washed in the washing machine or dried in the dryer or in direct sunlight!
